my dad has 2 of the 3/4 bell helmets. they are nice looking setting on the workbench but when he puts them on his head he looks like George Jetson.(not cool) I have a Bitell Bucko and it fits awsome and looks way cooler than the bell. i know its not dot but its better than nothing. anyway any dot helmet you go for unless its a full face is gonna have more of a high profile look anyway.

Here is a couple of links that hopefully should take you to the web pages of to manufacturers of very close fitting 3/4 helmets. I already have one from Optimal and i am expecting one of the pacto helmets any day now which i ordered from Hi Star vintage motorcyle clothing. I had a lick's 3/4 DOT, it's a well made helmet, lighter than my bell custom 500, and fit's better IMO, I'm ready to get a new helmet and I'm going to go with Lick's again. Last time I ordered, I ordered a size too small, sent it back, they exchanged it, no problem, no hassle. They're a good outfit to deal with and I give 'em 2 thumbs waaay up.

These are on Lick's site for $55 and claim to be the smallest. I've been wearing a biltwell for 2 years and want to go DOT. My head is so small the biltwell doesn't look so low profile anyway. Can anyone post pics of them with theirs? They're about half what the Bell 500 cost from what I see, is the quality comparable? Do they make a face shield for them? Lastly, is Lick's the place to buy from, never dealt with them before. Thanks.
