I'm looking for a 3/4 helmet that is DOT certified. So that rules out Biltwell... I found these but am having trouble finding any further info or thoughts about them. They claim to be DOT and the same size as Biltwell's. My suspision comes from the fact that the company that manufactures them doesnt have a website and they arent sold anywhere other than ebay? I have talked to a few people that have them and love them. They claim that they fit great and are DOT. Anybody else own one or have more info? Thanks
I don't know about the helmet you listed, but I got a chance to try on the Bell 3/4, I believe its called the custom or something. They have a few metalflake finishes and some custom finishes. They fit well, and didn't look too goofy. Definitely had that Biltwell retro look
I've tried the Bell Custom 500 and Fulmer V2. I'm looking for the smallest helmet possible and of course every company claims that there's is the smallest. From what i can tell it between the motoflake and the Daytona Cruiser 3/4 helmets. Here is a link to the ebay company page.
I just bought one a month ago and so far I love it!! I had a few issues with the seller but in the end he made it right so I cannot say he was a dirty dealer. I bought the "evil sucka" helmet in large. It fits very good and I love not having the wind in my ears. These helmets are a NO frills type helmet but for $80 you cannot go wrong. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the 3/4 so I opted not to spend the cash for the Bell 500 I really wanted. Not unhappy at all with the helmet. It sits very low on my head and it actually sits lower than the pics of the Bell 500 people have put on here. It is fiberglass and is very light weight and comfy. Let me know if you have any other questions. Bryan

Are they narrow at the cheeks like the V2? I tried a V2 the other day and it just didn't feel right...very tight at cheeks.
Rowdy82, I am currently in search of the same thing. This is what I have found thus far. I have a Daytona ž helmet which I think is alright. I ordered a Bell Custom 500 which I just sent back for a refund. I like the quality of the Bell compared to the Daytona but it just did not fit as well as I hoped it would. The Daytona definitely is smaller looking on my head. I wanted to try the motoflake helmets but I wanted a black flake or plain black and I have not seen any in that color. So my search continues.
Yeah, im with you guys. I think i'm leaning towards the Daytona's. I like the look of the Motoflakes but dont care for the colors. Just skeptical that if there was finally a DOT helmet this small, why wouldnt everyone be buying one by now? And why wouldnt the company be advertising more than just ebay? Something just isnt adding up. How does the Daytona run size wise, some people say order exactly off there chart others say order a size smaller so it doesnt move around?
Check out the canadian HD dealers. I just got back from Canada, and there DOT labeled helmets are VERY small. Their DOT beanies were about the same size as my SkidLid.

IMHO I would not waste any money on the Daytona.I bought one new and sold it for 25.00 a week later. They look small on the shelf but when you put them on they have a very akward shape,It almost reminds me of like a easter bonnet. They still have the 1 inch of hard foam to make it DOT.But they are very thin on the sides and back which make them look weird.Plus they come very high on the back of the neck.Wind noise is terrible as there is no padding around the ears, after 60 MPH they are ready to fly off your head and choke the **** out of you.Overall it is a very low quality helmet.I felt safer wearing my Biltwell than that thing. And for a DOT my Fulmer V2 is far ,far better than the Daytona.Hope this helps Tom
