Then put a quieter exhaust on it. Like a supertrapp or something like it.
What pipes do you have on it now?
+1 on that. With Supertrapp 2 into one Megs, you can 'dial' in the sound you want by adding or removing disk's, instead of wasting your money on the work you've all ready done. DSC00185.jpg
I have a kesstech exhaust which has a button you can press which opens and closes a valve in the exhaust. Open makes deeper slightly louder sound than the Screaming Eagles, almost like the older SEs but deeper, when the valve is closed they sound slightly louder than stock...but loud enough that they do not pass the decibel laws here in Switzerland (and according to them, Europe).
I found a solution for my loudness problem though...last night I installed the RSD turbine A/C and I did it wrong...I didn't read all the instructions and I kept the throttle body bracket which didn't allow me to tighten the bolts enough around the gasket that goes against the throttle body hole, and when I turned it on it was LOUD I guess because so much air was being sucked through, but that sound was coming from the exhaust...so I started over and did it right (I hope) and now that I heard what really loud sounds like, it doesn't sound so loud anymore
Very happy
