that's always the first thing to hurt on me, is my tailbone. It was enough that I put my mids back on as well so I could stand up on the bike from time to time to get some feeling back in my butt.

I'm 6'4" and rode my wife's Nightster a few times.. we had the forward controls on it.. I still looked like a gorilla on a tricycle, but it wasn't uncomfortable.

I'd add that the wife's new Street Bob with the mid controls are far more uncomfortable than the Nightster with Forward controls. She's just a skoosh too short for forward controls on the Dyna

Options,,,being able to move about,,that helps on long rides,,
Hi-way pegs and Mids are an option to consider
I have and will keep my Mids,,I am 6ft tall.
Better control with mids,,

Able to "weight the pegs",,more control at super slow speed,,
Able to rise up off the seat for a nasty bump,,,back saver,,also kinds nice to adjust
yer package,,If ya can stand up and ride with one hand XD

When corner carving I can "Hang Off" with Mids,,bracing my knee in the tank.
Also I can shift upper body weight forward for better front traction,,
cant to that with forwards,,,
Just something to consider,,,,,
Hi-way pegs an mids,,,kinda nice to move about on long rides,,,,

All valid points. Maybe I WILL go for highway pegs.

I'm 6'1 and i want nothing to do with fwds other then highway pegs. When i'm actually driving the bike i want my feet under me on the brakes and gears.

Yeah I would only use the Hiway pegs to stretch or when I am way out In the open.
Even On the Superslab My Feet go to the Mids for control If a cager
Is anywhere near me.
With the sportsters power band I would feel safe leaving My left foot
out front more often.

I rode a buddies Forwards on his 1200C,,
Yes Comfy,,very, and I felt like I had good control,,,to a point.

I'm 6'7" with mids...till Tuesday
I feel like I'm on a dirt bike with elbows almost touching my knees. I know this bike it too small for me, but with extensions on the forward controls I'm putting on, trimming the seat padding and 12" Z-bars, I should be sittin' pretty good.
We'll see either way.
