Yeah, I figured 14'' would be the most I should do. I'm 5'8''
Junior, I am 5'8". If I slouched the bars were a hair above my shoulders. Sitting straight up my hands were even with my shoulders. A consideration to bar height should include the addition of new risers. If you keep the stock riser setup than 14's would be perfect IMO. Pullback on the R6C bars are the same as the stock bars (roughly 31"). You can change that by how far push the bars forward or pull back before tightening the bolts through the clamp. BTW the knurling on R6C bars are good too. My bars never once slipped forward or back on me. Very sturdy feel. A bit to get used to but awesome feel. Where are you getting your new cables at? Check out Drag Specialties directional relocation kit too. I had my front directionals relocated to the top of the forks.

Hey dude! Thanks for all the great info.
I was thinking of keeping the stock risers for now. Will see later down the road if I will change up. I was planning on ordering the cable kit that comes with the bars from R6C. Figured they should fit the best. Any other suggestions? Not sure what I am doing with the directionals yet. I'll look into Drag Specialties. My bro works in a shop and can get good prices on Drag Specialties.
Thanks again bro!
Junior,
Easy day brother. Funny, I gave R6C (Seth) a connection for putting cable kits together quite a while ago. My indy had a direct connect to a guy that made cables for companies like Barnett's ( R6C bars and my indy's cable). The cables were custom cut from my indy's measurements, not cookie cutter. They allowed R6C a shot at doing business with the same guy after I asked for Seth. Not sure if he's using that same connection for his cable kits but it's good to see he can cover both ends now. I had a quality experience with them . I hope the same for you and you can have faith in his product. I miss my Nightster, mostly the way it looked. Just got my LO today. I need the snow to melt to complete the grieving process after a few miles on the new horse.
I have the 14". I know the owner, went to high school with him. Great guy, he really cares about the quality and the finish. I buy everything that I can from him.
