Hey guys.....I recently removed and replaced my SE Baffles with different one done by a Harley Dealer. Since then I have picked up this annoying flat spots where the bikes becomes hesitant and eventually throttles through.
I was advised that it will be sorted once I install the HD SERT. Being very expensive I read the forum and decided to do the Stage 1 SE AC and have the maps downloaded - which needless to say still does not sort my problem out.
I am now forced to purchase the SERT which BTW was not advised to me by the HD Technician - that this will be the outcome once you CHANGE YOURBAFFLES - DUDE!. So in a nutshell === will this eventually sort me out and help my bike perform like a dream or will have to do something else again! I am prettty pissed at this dealership as they in my oppinion will do everything to squeeze you out of your pennies at the expense of their reputation....pretty F&^king disappointing.
I have read the technical and practical advantages of the SERT. Once installed, will the SERT and the Stage 1 SE AC transform my bike?.... 2010 Irron 883 SE Mufflers Stage1 SE AC SIdekick Seat with Sissy Bar
Doesn't sound related to baffles but it does sound like you are being up-sold. Baffles quiet spent gases. To burn the gas it has to be delivered first and it sounds like more of a fuel delivery problem than anything else in my opinion.
If you installed the Air cleaner and mufflers you need atleast the download from the dealer not to run lean. Now to tune the bike you will need some type of fuel management system, power commander, fuel pack, sert. The new baffles are probably your problem unless you haven't got the download. Hope this helps.
Okay.....so I do I know if the latest downloads have been installed....BTW. I have the Stage SE AC installed by a dealer and apparently he downloaded the latest ECM mappings. Please advise me as where I can buy a SERT from realtively cheaper than HD themselves and get this problem sorted out.
