Do you mean it slips on acceleration or is coming out of gear? If it is in gear and your getting slipage on acceleration and is still in gear it has to be a clutch issue although I would think it woul do it in 4th and 5th too.
I'm leaning with glennt7 & grammaton in that it sounds more like a clutch issue from your message desctiption. Being that it's a wet clutch, have you checked the fluid level and adjustment?
