Jrock, if you don't mind, what kind of price did you end up paying for the Nightster? I've been kicking around looking into one when the time comes to finally get a bike, and was just curious if/when I go to talk with the dealership near by. Thanks.

Hey Mabuz

To give you the whole story I was looking at a new 2010 that another dealer had and they offered it to me for $9999 and wave all other charges when I was going to put a deposit on the bike the other dealer had it sold so they gave me a 2011 for the same price I paid $9,999 + tax they waves all the other charges ( about $1000 worth) and gave me a 20% discount on merchandise I purchase there... I am not sure how long thats for. To be honest i dont know if that was a good deal or not but it was the best from the dealers I spoke with and I really liked the sales guy and the parts guy was great where are you located ?

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured there wouldn't be much wiggle room on HDs in general, but it never hurts to ask.

Im in SW PA, and just started looking into getting a bike. Hopefully I'll be able to swing it this year.

From what I have heard Sportsters in general dont have a lot of fat in them so if you can get the deal I did my understanding is the dealership will make between $800- $1000 on that bike which I am ok with now that might not be accurate but that was my understanding
