Help needed removing neck bearing

Hi everyone, i cant for the life of me get the neck bearing off, it just wont move, tried a few tools, grease, wd40 but just cant figure out how to get it off and the service manual does not give any good info for this. If anyone knows any tricks or advice that would be great. tks

try some pb blaster around the shaft let it soak and try a couple of thin blade stiff putty knifes to pop it off

I use a hydraulic press.They dont just slide off.

On my 08 sporty the lower bearing just slid off. Just serviced bearings on wifes 01, and lower bearing is a press fit. Manual states if lower bearing needs replacing then cut the cage off, then apply heat to bearing to expand and pry off. Then use a lengh of pipe to install new bearing.

They have to be pressed off, I just took mine to my wifes work and had one of her mechanics do it for me so I could have all my triple trees powdercoated, then had them press it back on!
