sick bike man. i love the inverted bar. i normally don't like 2 into 1 exhaust but that one looks sweet. how does it sound? i have a 09 Iron that I'm slowly working at the café racer look with. how does the seat feel? does it hold you in place when you get a "heavy" hand? I'm looking into the hd springer seat, which in similar hight and shape. thanks for your help. keep up the great work.
The seat feels almost exactly like the oem seat - possibly a bit firmer. It hasn't really phased me at all. The exhaust is amazing. Not too loud at idle, so people won't look at you like you're an ******* when you start it up at starbucks. lol. but when you start moving, it gets loud. The faster you go, the louder it gets. I rode for an hour the other day - I wear a full helmet and I had a bit of ringing in my ears when I got off.
I don't particularly like Cafe Sportsters but yours look nice. I like how you kept the original look of the Iron while doing your thing.
I somewhat agree. I like how the bike is set up now but i dont think that it looks like a cafe racer..
I like that it looks like an Iron with mods..
a cafe racer usually has a raised rear end and taller shocks...the rear fender looks stock (not that thats bad. again i think the bike looks great) its usually replaced with a more aggressively angled "sport bike" type rear. The front end is usually changed out (on sportster set ups ive seen buell front ends)
