Ignition Problems
Okay so here's the problem. The last several times I've started my 2010 Iron 883 I've been having this particular issue. The bike starts up fine, but after about a minutes it sputters and dies. Then when I re-start it will not stay on unless I play with the throttle. I have to hold the throttle back for about a minute or two all while the exhaust sputters, pops, and the bike struggles to stay on. Then the bike will settle in and all is fine. The bike will run fine and even after I shut it off, it will start right back up (unless I turn it off for a period of half an hour) then I have to go through the whole process again. Any ideas here, Please. Note that the bike is all stock has no modifications.
I have to check about the warranty. I bought from a non Harley Dealer and they gave a 90 Day warranty covered by the them. They never mentioned the Harley Warranty, and now that I research it it appears that if you sell your bike while under warranty you also have to transfer the warranty. Is this true?
