That seems awfully quick.
Are these all dealer bolt-on customizations?
What I'm saying is, does the dealer just order the basic bike and all of the accessories your wife wanted and put them on when the bike arrives or is everything done on the line at the factory?
Please keep us in the loop.
Thanks :-)

Yes the dealer orders the basic bike with the paint you want, the wheels you want. Then they also order all the accessories that you have picked out. When the bike arrives they due their PDI and install all your accessories. We were going to get a few other items but then found out all the extras are installed at the dealer instead of on the assembly line. I am talking about things like a crome swingarm that would make more sense if they installed it at the factory. We too were suprised at the quick turn around time but that is what Harley gave us for a delivery date.
Well the wife got a email from the dealership today and her bike now has a VIN#. Don't know what that means as far as where the bike is as far as it being built but she is dancing around cause it now has a VIN#.
Well the wifes bike got here on the 3rd just like they said it would and we are going over to the dealership tomorrow 6 May to pick it up. I'll post some pictures of it Saturday. The wife is excited as heck too. The onld bad part of the whole thing is it is suppose to rain tomorrow so her new ride might get wet.
