Default I liked the 48 but I liked the iron better

I looked at the nightster and the 48s but I fell in love with the Iron low (all black except pipes) and the yellow gas tank. Reminds me of bumble bee in transformers and that's his name--the autobot decals go on soon. At some point I want to switch to black pipes but I'm told all the emission controls and air sensors on the pipes on the 2011 are going to make it a pricey change unless I can find some kind tech willing to do it for less than harley's labor prices.

Before the 48's arrived on scene, the Iron was going to be the bike for me. They are seriously cool too!

Perfect bike for Ladies in my opinion. Small, low, light and easy handle. Great looking bike and it sounds like a prefect fit for you.
