If you want minimal work, though - just splice in your new light, keep the circuit board and leave the blinkers alone.

Do what I said with the blue wire and the red/yellow wire and see where you get. I'm pretty sure I'm right. Ignore the brown wire for now.

You're not being a pain

P.S. I didn't know **** about wiring. I played around with this one day and got it in like 5 mins. It's trial and error. Pretty simple. Don't sweat it Just a matter of touching wires til ya get it right. Once you get it, you're like - "DUH!"

If what I said before doesn't work, lemme know. I have another idea.

GOT IT!!!! Sweet, I used the extra wires that came with the light, this gave me 3 wires. I did what you said and spliced the wires, red to red (brake) and orange to blue (running) and grounded the black.

Thanks so much for your help, I'll try to snap some pics of my entire bike tomorrow.

Default What to do with the turn signal wires.

Im also chopping my fender on my sportster and getting rid of that ugly tail light. I have 2 wires for my left turn signal and 2 wires for my right turn signal. I’m just wondering how I splice those in with the existing wires that are there. Will there be 2 running light wires and 2 signal wires that I splice in to? Making 4 wires on each signal?
