Default Brake/turn/ running light conversion kit

Trying to finish up this 07 1200c sportster project. We chopped the fender and got rid of the brake running light and purchased the conversion kit from harley that makes your turn signals running and brake lights also. My question is where the heck do I put the wiring harness that originally runs under the fender for the brake light. It seems this kit is obviously made to be used with the original brake light. Does anyone know of any kits or simple options to rid myself of all this excess wiring? I'm Running a solo seat and don't have any room to coil up this old wiring harness and hide it. I guess I could buy the connectors and rewire it. Any better ideas or links to any threads of what others did in this situation?

Cut and shorten the wires, then solder and heat shrink the splices.

I chopped my Superlow fender, purchased the chopped fender LED lighting kit, (not made for my bike) and then studied the wiring diagrams from the service manual. I found which connections made it work and cut the rest entirely.

I also just removed any excess wiring when I did mine, I wasn't totally happy with just the signals being the only brake light so I kept that wire and installed a strip LED light under my fender bag as a center brake light. By law in Canada you have to have a center mount brake light but I was mostly worried about getting rear ended by someone who didn't notice the signal lights light up.

Yeah I think it's time to cut the wiring harness to shorten it, use the stock connector from original brake light and try and hide the connector infront of the ECM under the seat. I suck at soldering, time to get some practice. Just wanted to make sure I was not missing an easier way before I start cutting wires.
