Call NRHS and ask for Dan, he's the owner. Tell him what you want to get out of your bike and he'll give you exactly what you need. Now if you go bigger than a 1250, you'll have to have your cases bored.

Its all bolt on, But they have to port your heads or you can get heads as part of a kit. They have the best customer service from start to finish.

ZIPPERS has a kit that will take a 1200 to 100/100 without increasing ci. It is called "The Hammer" and works the heads, valves, hi comp pistons and includes a complete "THUNDERMAX". Runs around $3800.

Just buy a Crotch Rocket,,wear a dark face shield and no body will know Its you XD

You still won't have the brakes or suspension to handle that kinda power,,
Unless ya just wanna drag bike.
$5,000 for the bike,,
$5,000 on motor work,,
$3,000 on suspension and brakes...
Getting all that to work together...

Fast as hell Crotch Rocket ready to go...
Half that..

Above dyno sheets are from an 883, not a 1200. There are different kits for each motor. The 1200 takes the "Super Hammer" kit.

With the parts included in the super hammer kit. Put it in a 883 or a 1200 and they both end up at the same place. In the end the only difference you'd end up with between the 883 and the 1200 is the gearing.

Quotes from Zippers.
This kit is ideal for the Sportster owner who wants a true max output 1200, suitable for everyday road use. Excellent power throughout the entire RPM range is what this kit
Zip Tip: 2004-up 883 Sportsters® have different primary and secondary gearing than the factory 1200’s do (final 4.07 [883] vs. 3.52 [1200]. We recommend lowering the final drive gear ratio when converting an 883 to 1200 with our kits.

I'm thinking about doing an 88 or a 90 and I'd like to take it to the track every once and a while for fun but it will still be my every day cruiser so I want a balance between power and useability.

Does anyone have any idea how bad I'll kill my gas mileage with an 88"/90" ? ...I know there are a lot of variables like the tuning and such but I'm trying to get a rough idea before I start saving up for the build.
