Sean was able to get my new Pull Back handlebars on my new sporty. For all of you who were wanting to know…They are great! I am 5’4” and they completely solved my reach problem. I rode all day on Sunday without any pain or discomfort. I will get pics posted this evening. They really don’t look much different but make all the difference in the world!
Glad to hear you got them changed. If I were to ride a bike with drag bars very far, I'd be in traction for a week because of my lower back. Once you get your engine guard and highway pegs installed and get a bag for the passenger seat, you'll think you are in your favorite recliner.
Thanks for letting us/me know....guess I will get them installed - no sense having them sit in a box in the garage. After this weekend's rides - I am ready for something that will give me more comfort!
Glad the new bars solved your reach problem, and congrats to Sean for a job well done! Now, if they'd only fit the 2005 XL1200R and solve my problem...
Howdy Heather, sorry about being slow to respond, but I am glad that the new handle bars solved some of your problems. I sometimes wonder if HD puts short bars on their bikes so people will spend some money to improve them? I am getting some mini-apes on my Springer in the hopes that they will be a little more comfy than stock. Glad to hear that you are happier with the new bars. Enjoy the ride
