I have Skulls <pegs, Derby, insp cover, etc> + the Chrome Oil and Battery covers on my Roadster... I agree the skulls are bling on these bikes but for some reason it kidda just fits... If I got another in a retro color I would really like to follow a more classic Bar and Shield combo...esp on the Chromed battery and oil covers... BTW the plastic tabs holding your current covers are weak... becarefull once ya remove the original they could be "spent"

I have the wing tips on mine part #66264-04.I happen to like them because not many people have them.They also match the strip on the gas tank.Got allot of compliments on mine.

My first choice would be to go for color matched ones. I personally like the way they look the way the bike flows. I also like XL OCD'S idea about pinstriping one of your favorite emblams. Thats different and it's a cool idea.....Good luck..

For the 3 people here that have pre '04 Sportsters J&P cycles has aone piece Battery and Ignition cover forthe leftside similar to the '04 up. It is fiberglas and paintable.
