Default Almost done Pictures

Here are some pictures of my 99 sportster. It is an 883 that has been converted to a 1200. It has a mikuni carb, K&N air filter. Wrapped Thunderheader 2 into 1 that I cut and welded an exhaust tip to. Spray bombed paint job (lots of wet sanding). 10" mini apes that I cut and removed 3" from the center to make them skinnier. I did the tank lift/coil relocation. I also moved the ignition switch down next to the battery. Made the tag bracket/brake light and installed a lowering kit. I also removed the tach (it didn't work) cut and rewelded the bracket so only the speedo is still attached. Custom seat (hasn't been covered in the pictures) Let me know what you think.

Not bad at all. I would say take off the front fender, but it's good eaither way.

Thanks guys. I think I agree about the fender. That is probably the next move.

Really nice done!

Could you tell me more about the lowering kit? How does it work, did you swap shocks and fork springs?

I think I'd get shorter spark plug wires before removing the fender. Other than that, nice work. Oh, and you're never truely done.

Got it from Ebay. About $35. Pretty simple setup. It just bolts on and moves your shocks back about 1" or so. There are adjustable ones as well but I am not sure about them. I lowered the forks in the trees about 1".
