08 Nightster Hardtail

I want to hard tail my 08 Nightster. I was wondering which would be my best option. I was either thinking to chop my factory frame and use a weld on hard tail or to buy a hard tail frame. If I do get a new frame which would you recommend. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

get in touch with the guys a led sled customs, they can hard tail your stock frame or sell you a complete frame

Ive also heard great things about the Led Sled stuff. They can do a weld on hard tail kit for your stock frame or build a frame to your specs and measurements. The good thing about using a hardtail kit is your bike will still be titled as a 2010 Nightster. Less hassle for paperwork and Im not sure how easy getting a title for a custom frame can be in Louisiana.

precisely, no paperwork bullshit! led sled makes nice stuff and heard nothing but good things myself. give them a call and tell them what you're looking to do. you must start a build thread for this once you get started so we can all drool over the progress.
