will these make my 48 have a better ride? I know it will lower the rear slightly. I just don't want my wife having a really rough ride
I have struts on my Iron, they will remove all rear suspension from the bike. You will feel every bump, groove, pebble, and fugget about chuck holes sometime they send my *** airborne and I have a spring seat. Your wife will not talk to you for weeks and you will be riding trying to avoid every thing in the road that looks like it will hurt. That being said, I love my struts but not sure how much longer my back will last.
There is no way that it will improve the ride of any bike. There are a lot of people that don't want anything but a rigid. There are a few advantages of rear suspension. If your going for low, look into some progressive shocks.
Thanks...sounds good, won't grab those. My bike is 2wks old and the back left stock strut squeaks and not sure why. I just haven't had time to run to Harley and show them...anyone else this with their bike.
