alright. ive come down with the flu but whatever, i still had the rear brake linkage to do so i sucked it up and did it. that's all that was left and here's some pics. ill try to get those all around pics tomorrow or the next day. the owner from bitter end wants some good ones to put on his website so ill put them on here too.
so with the new forward controls i received a 15 inch long brake linkage. I needed to remove 4 inches since the rear master cylinder was relocated so thats what I did.
Here I put the two pieces back together with some welds. theyre bulky but i didnt care and im sick so ill deal.
Now here is where the linkage bolts to the rear master cylinder. Now the linkage can pivot around a little but that was a problem. The master cylinder needs to go straight back but with the play in the linkage it was going down and sideways. I put a couple small welds between the linkage and the master cylinder and now there isn't a problem.
In this pic im just holding the brake down so you can see that the rear master compresses.
I went ahead and sent the pics that bitter end choppers wanted so I'll share them with you guys too. I used a different HD setting on the camera. I shake really bad all the time so hopefully they will look ok.
