I have one of the (in)famous 2.1 gallon peanut tanks, I like taking rather long rides and was wondering if it was possible to keep a tank of some sort on the bike somewhere so in case I run out on the road, i'd have a quart to keep me going another 10 miles or so for those 'oh sh*t' moments?
I heard of one that may be mountable to the bike (and preferably vented so it doesn't splode), and doesn't look too terrible with it on or off.
Also, what are some good examples of auxilary tanks that may sit on top of the main?
Thanks!
P.S.
It's a 48, so no saddle bags to stow anything away in, and would rather not tow in plain sight, like behind the sissy bar.
hey u dont need one of those 24/7 so just be redneck and on a long trip u no there is no gas statons 100 miles apart bunji cord and a 5 gallon gas can will get the job done and its maybe 8 bucks better then spending 14 plus shipping for a few ounces to get 5 min down the road... just my real life experince
