Default Vo2 Naked Intake

I just installed the VO2 naked intake from Vance and Hines. Do i need a rain sock? I couldnt tell if the filter is oiled or not. And with these intakes, is it okay for the bike to sit out if it rains? Thanks

I have the stock AC cover cut so my whole SE stage I filter is open with no rain sock. I do not like to ride in the rain, but have been cought in a few bad storms this year with it and no issues. If you are going to ride in the rain alot then I would get a rain sock, but just a few showers now and then-it's not a huge deal. My filter is a dry filter, the oiled ones tend to be colored and if you touch them you can tell if there is oil on them or smell it?
