I just got my first Harley from a dealership in Memphis. I've wanted one for a long time, and finally found one I like at a price I can live with. It's an 08 883. It has forward controls, a peanut tank, and a nice deep rumble. Don't know what pipes are on it, but they aren't stock. It's a lot louder than any of the others that I test road over the last few months.
I rode it home from the dealer (a little over 200 miles) yesterday, and have put another 150 miles on it today. I love it so far, but that damn seat has got to go, it's like riding on cast iron stuffed with gravel! Other than a decent seat, I'm going to see how much damage I can do to the odometer before making any mods.
Cheers, I'm off to take some ibuprofen so I can get back on the bike,
