Fake Harley? That's a silly thing to say. I could understand if you were riding one of the many Japanese models that mimic the Harley stying. If they're trying to say it's "fake" because it's a Sportster, ask 'em to define "fake" and lend them your dictionary.
Foe every person that calls my Nightster a 'dirt bike' or 'scooter', I get 10 people giving me thumbs up or just a nod and stare that you can tell says 'Thats f***ing awesome'.
I am 24 and the younger riders who would normally like sport bikes (like my friends) love the sportster models. I think seeing my bike convinced two of my buddies to get one too. I think the future of their brand will be in the Sportster line.

The Kawasaki motor company has a sportster rip-off, exact copy point for point, I've seen it in Tel Aviv they really have stolen the harley look, the sound is different but the look is exactly the same. I may buy replacement parts from them instead of the stealership in Israel.
