clean your fuse box, everything is prob corroded, pull out all your relays and fuses, clean them with a wire brush or somthing, put dielectric gease on them and put them back in, should fix your problem. prob a good idea to replace relays when you get a chance. problem has been happening a lot latley with the 07-09 sportys cuz the fuse box is exposed to the elemnts
I just had this problem with the corrosion...bike would either not start or died running down the road. Cleaned all fuses and relays with enery cloth, but anti-oxidizer & electric grease on them and re-installed. No problems since, but gonna pick up some new relays this weekend and replace them to be safe. Mine were all "white oxidized" and the system relay had the grean crap all over the terminals.

oh yeah, i think i replied to that post you had sharkman, seems like alot of poeole have been having that prob, i was goin nutz tryin to fig out what was wrong. i had just got done inst new bars on my bike when it happend too. ended up tearing all my wiring apart thinkin i pinched a wire or somthin.
