I've heard the term a few times but am not sure what it means. Is it like low suspension?

 

Exactly it's just a slang term for lowered used to be "slammed" is used to describe something that has been lowered to the max.

 

Lowering. Like when you lower a car down into the weeds. The problem you run into with lowering, your cornering goes away and you start dragging parts.

 

Basically as low as you can go.

 

That is exactly what it means. You do lose some lean angle but you don't really scrape all that much. If you wanted a corner carver you wouldn't buy a Custom you would get a roadster. I am very pleased with how the suspension is on my bike. The only thing I am going to change eventually is to goto a heavier weight fork oil. Low looks good in my book.
