Finally, today I was able to pick up my Nightster. Pretty late though at 5pm so I only went for a short ride (more tomorrow at 6:30am when I need to get to work! ) .
The ride was great, handling is awesome, I rode a Triumph Speedmaster before and even though the specs say the Speedmaster is lighter my Nightster feels a lot lighter than the Speedmaster!
Takes a bit more to go through a corner though (oddly). Thing is there is this high metallic rattle when the motor is running (especially when opening the gas).
I hope thats a normal sound? it was a bit annoying at first but I got used to it.
Phew! Thanks thats good to know, my brother has pipes on without muffler , he had his 48 before I had my Nightster so maybe I didn't hear it because his is so loud when you drive behind him you go deaf!
I always wonder how he didn't get pulled over by the cops yet (Germany is, pardon the pun, totally **** about motorcycle noise)
