Wow thank you for that, I love hearing about the British bikes, Riders of the Lost Empire, I'll have to get some pictures of that BSA sometime and post them up here, also seeing as how your a fan of Turnips, beside the BSA on the shelf is a Silver Jubilee I can get some photos of to, Thanks again for that info on the 441 Victor, never knew that. Best Wishes. -Joe
Hi Joe,
I bought a new BSA B25 Starfire 250 in 1968 and my brother bought a new B44 441 the following year (I think it was called Shooting Star over here, our Victor was a street scrambler style), so we have BSA singles in our blood! Used to go and watch that M&T bike racing at Thruxton circuit and it was quite a sight.
If you google 'Mead & Tomkinson' or any of the riders' names you'll pick up a few other websites.
I don't care about looks or sound. Mainly performance. If it performs the same, I would pick the quieter one since that is where the wife sits and she isn't into loud noises. I couldn't care less personally but I'd like to keep the wife happy if possible.
Should the exhaust pipes be change or just the muffler?
Currently I am running an 883. What if I changed to the 1200 or 1250 from NHRS? Would it also have to change?
I'd go with the Exotic setup, just because I don't like the look of the megaphones. What setup are you currently running? It's hard to tell from your sig.

For all practical purposes, stock. Forward control kit and handlebars don't really count as modifications for this sort of thing, do they?
Well, when we are talking about exhaust, they don't really count lol
That is why I didn't mention them.
So, for an 883, what exhaust would you recommend that I can install AND grow into? I don't what a kit that I install today but becomes too little when I grow into a 1200 or 1250. I care about performance and fitment and then price. I would like it not to make a racket only because of the passenger. If she gets a headache, I don't get any that night so. Besides getting a hooker, what do you experts recommend?
I recently fitted a SuperTrapp SuperMeg to my Glide, had it dynoed and am very impressed with the improved performance, especially low/mid range, so if I change the pipes on my Sporty I will get one for that as well.
D&D Bobcat...not only make the sporty look badass...but big improvemnt in performance...especially if you are going to doing any significant engine mods...
