Default Handlebar risers

So I'm thinking that I want some risers. I'd be more comfortable if my handgrips were where the mirrors are stock. What would I need 2 or 3" risers? Would I need new cables?

I got 8.5" without "needing" linger cables. After I did a lift and tuck I have enough room for another inch comfortably. I'm sure you'll be fine with that small of a rise

What does your triple tree look like? Anything in THIS post? If so you might have trouble with risers

Aklim what do you mean by anything in this post? There's only one post whats the difference between a regular triple tree and abnormal.

Normal triple trees I am referring to look like THIS and you can bolt risers to it. Mine looks like the one in the first pic where the riser is part of the triple tree clamp.

Let us know how you make out - particularly with the stock cable lengths making the "stretch".
