I really want to do this one time and one time only..I hate buyers remorse and I don't want to make any mistakes..so all your opinions will be valued.
I have an 06 1200Low with mid controls, I love this bike and I want new pipes that sound deep and rich with a great rumble, not so loud that they will be a distraction to me but a wonderful full sound that will make me feel like my bike is purring.
Someone told me the Bub Jug Huggers are what I want...someone else told me that Cobra's would do it...and then the dealer said Screaming Eagles are no longer available.

Please help me with this dilemma. Thanks Pauline
I know a number of folks running the various "Bub" pipes, and they are very high quality.
The Cobra pipes are very nice, but I have always liked the Bub Jug Huggers, and they look especially nice on Sportsters. They are a full 2.5" in diameter (with the full coverage heat shield), and come with what is called MaxFlo baffles. These baffles are probably 2.25", and they do put out the tone. (The larger diameter the baffles the 'louder' they will be). If they are too much you can also purchase 1.5" Stealth baffles that will help tame the output.
Old Fender Guy...Thanks for the input...are those pics of the Bub's?? I think that's the way I'm leaning. My Husband said if I get louder than him..he won't ride with me...or he'll get louder yet!! Sounds like the war of the Roses!!! At any rate I've heard some Sportsters sounding really nice and that's what I want, that deep rich tone. Thanks Again

Yep, they are the Jug Huggers on a 2005 1200C....
You might want to check out the below link. It's on a 2005 1200C that is 'for sale', but the owner has Jug Huggers mounted, and there are a lot of pictures of the pipes from different angles.
The Jug Huggers are a little more expensive than some (run about $475), but they are top of the line and it's one of those deals where you get what you pay for.
I like the style of the Hookers that are on mine.... I guess because they don't follow the same stock lines as traditional and most after market pipes for Sporties....
I put cycle shack slash cuts on my wifes Sporty. After I got them on, I rode it and was just ok with the sound of them. But then we went for a ride and I got to hear them from a different prospective. They sound so sweet that I prefer to follow her everywhere! The more that I hear them the better they sound! I've got SE's on my Fatboy and her's sound so much better!
