$15K on a Sportster? Holy crap!
Hope it all works out for you, yeah you are gonna be pushed to come out even, much less a profit. You are under a lot more than the bike is worth.
Let this be a lesson to all other noobs. Don't go out and get absolutely raped on a brand spankin knew Harley for your first bike because some people find out real quick that riding aint for them. Jeeeeeze...this is just wrong on so many levels.
You'll be lucky to get $8K for that bike. Just trade it for a minivan and get it over with.

Haven't seen the reply from the OP on this question. If it is due to dropping it, then I'd store it for a bit and think about it.
Also, can we get a picture? I'm just curious...
Well, with a name of (I suck at riding bikes), the fact that he dropped the bike, and it has no more than 14 miles on it gives the impression that buyers remorse is the motivating factor in the intent to sell.
He hasn't logged back in since 14:32. Maybe he didn't get the answer he wanted from us or he just got tied up and is too busy to respond.
you must have ordered it with a lot of Options to have a $14.5K Out the door. PLus that Warrenty probably costs $2k. that does improve the resale value of the bike. But the fact that is was wrecked really scares off buyers, I dont think you have to tell a buyer that, it's not like they can get a Carfax right? If they ask then that's different.
plus it's really hard to get a buyer to give you extra for optional parts and warrenties because if they wanted any of that they could just buy it from the dealer themselves.
so the best thing to do may be to take the low road and let the Repo Man take it or in other words just turn it in to the dealer/finance company and explain to them you cant afford the payments anymore, then you wont lose anymore than what you already have in it although it may hurt your credit some. If it hurts your credit badly and you plan on borrowing a lot more money in the near future, it may be better for you to take the loss now.
The 1200c is a really nice bike that is in demand and holds their value well but if you owe $9800 you'll never get that much in a private sale if you are going to disclose from the beginning that the Bike was wrecked before.
Another thing you might want to do is have a copy of the repair order or even get an Inspection report from a dealership that shows the bike is like new condition for the potential buyers to see.
If you want to keep it you could still get your money's worth out of it. Your getting married, that means you'll have 2 incomes, How can you not afford it?

Yeah, I'm looking for my first Harley and I've been surprised at the number of low-mile bikes out there. Stories like this (dropped bikes that get repaired) reinforce my decision to buy new.
As for buyers remorse, it would be nice if Sportsters were offered as rentals. I'd gladly pay the $100 daily rate to test-ride an Iron or a 48 to help me decide.

you can always test drive them for free as much as you want. This story is not typical of harleys, most people buy harleys as toys rather than for transportation and find out they dont have time to ride or they get bored with it, plus I think the stat is that 90% of sportster owners trade up for a bigger harley so that's why you see so many ones with low miles.
plus you can look at it that if you get one with just over 1,000 or 5,000 miles then the services have been recently done on them and they are broken in.
