I found 30 front too little, had vibration at 120km. Better at 36.

My manual for 2008, 1200 is 30 front, and 36 rear.

wonder if there is a difference for an 883 and 1200?

Had 12,000 miles before changing tires, and I am not an agressive rider, but the dealer told me it was time for new tires - - wonder if they just wanted to sell tires. BUT, rather safe than sorry, and I live in the Seattle area where we have rain often. I don't plan on riding in the rain, but could get caught sometime.

Do you still have 36 in the rear? Which would mean both tires are the same.

I may bump up to 36 on the front just to see if there is a difference - - but would think Harley knows how much to have in each tire, and assume the rear is higher because of rider weight.

If you still have the VIN tag on the neck, it should have that info on it. Mine says 30 front 36 rear. most vehicles Have it posted on it some where. Unless that tag gets pulled off.

When i first got the bike i went by the manual but as you ride and change things you'll learn where your sweet spots are. I run 32F/36R but that adjusted for my riding style and I run Venoms.
