I like this Screamin eagle A/C cover, but in the S/E calatog I could only find trim part not the center locking plate, any one knows how is this done? http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...o/25251ef8.jpg
Thank you
i bought a brand new center cover plate for 8 bucks at the dealer
Do you have a picture, I found out today that it was a modified version of the stock cover off of a twin cam, but they only come in chrome, so he sent it to powder coated black for me.
It looks like someome cut the center out of a factory Big Twin, oval, flying football cover then applied the Screamin' Eagle trim piece with the double sided tape that the trim comes with to hide the rough edge where the circle was cut. Kinda nice.

While it looks cool, you must live in a drier climate than I do or don't plan to ride in the rain. One problem with that type of air cleaner is when it gets wet out the bike doesn't run well once the filter gets water on it. The water prevents air from getting through and the bike runs like crap. One of the reasons that I run "modified" football covers on both of my bikes. Slight changes to personalize them without sacrificing the coverage of the filter.
