i went out for a quick zip just a bit ago to make sure all was good and it is. i hammered it a few times no leaky through the breather bolts but i'm also running the oil abut as low as i can right now. i felt like you tho SF, rollin fenderless. the more i look at it like this the more i know i need a slimmer seat.
I want to see it with those Firestones. Have you read anything on how those are holding up after some miles? I want some but not if I'm going to have to be buying new ones too often.
anyhwehre between 4-5kmi. on a set is what i been seeing with a 100mph speed rating. perfect for me. i don't take long, cross country rides and i aint racing it. i'm hoping to get the tires mounted this week. you think you're anxious jackal! picking the fender up on saturday and would love to have my bike back with some firestones on it waiting for the fender to come home but that just might not be reality
think i'm gonna move my lic. plate to the rear shock too and get some smaller (than stock) bullet lights and mount them to the axles instead of the single run/stop light. can anyone suggest any bullet lights (non led)? i think i saw something very similar to the ones CO use on their builds. dog will hunt....
just pulled the trigger on this diamond stitched beauty made in the good ole usa. you so crazy orange....lol. hey FLATIRON., if you want my seat its yours. pm me....if not streetfighter would like a crack at her.
Doood! I'll be looking to see it put together. I think you need the bars to make it come together...but you need to have some vintage look aviation goggles to make it fly. Glad you are liking the new digs, environment is muy importante.
Excellent job man. And I agree with you about the attack bars and the exhaust. Fits the style much better. Glad to hear it's running fine. I am envious...
picking up some stock sporty header pipes this week and shopping for exhaust tips now. we'll see how it ties together with my current bars before committing to another set at the moment. i can't wait to get these firestones mounted boys.....
btw-those bullet lights above will work with (electric wise) with my sporty right? i know you only need a load balancer with LED's correct?
seat is coming from PA so should be here in a day or so.....WOOT WOOT!
