Years ago I purchased a handlebar clock from HD. It cost $80 or so. Nice piece, keeps time well, can be easily seen. It attaches to either side grip bracket that is convenient to you. Unfortunately it is NOT a wired-in addition so, as in my case, I need a new battery. Problem for me is that the original batt disappeared, and I forgot what size it calls for.
As to an earlier question that I saw regarding the removal of the back of the clock; It does screw (counterclockwise) lose, just carefully use the sharp little tips of your favorite needle-nosed pliers to slip into the two opposing detents of your clocks back, then carefully unscrew it.
