Oh great, it's this guy again. Why don't you read more about the EFI in your books and share all of your wealthy knowledge. What a quack.

Hey - A GREAT BIG MIDDLE FINGER TO YOU. You appear to have a problem with actual knowledge around here, or perhaps it's just that you know much of mine is from a book - but still better than yours. Regardless, your apparent disdain for some basic fact checking of our EFI systems strikes me as very odd - do you just want to stick your head in the sand, or perhaps it's actually up your a*s?

If you'd rather read forum posts that continue to foment confusion and just plain incorrect assumptions about our bikes - there's plenty of it here - how about just then ignoring mine, because they will all contain either facts or I will plainly state that this is my assumption.

I know what I'll be doing with yours.

Awesome throttle response and a beautiful rumble on decel. It works just great, along with the gauges you can run and the code reading capability this is the tuner of choice for me by far.
On previous bikes I have ran the cobra fi2000r (great fuel adding tuner) and the power commander 3 (total piece of **** without dyno tune or fuel moto help).
Don't know about the others.
The Fi2000 Power Pro Auto Tuner doesn't have just one tune. It really doesn't have any tune....from the moment you start the bike it reads what the bike is doing and is always changing the mixture. It's always adjusting no matter what you are doing or what the bike is doing it is always evolving. From the very first turn of the key with the power pro I have never had a single pop on decel ever. This thing just plain works as advertised. Hook it up and walk away never to mess with it again.

I've been doing the research before getting a tuner to use on my Iron. I'm more of a DIY guy and a person who doesn't like someone messing with something when you have no idea what they are doing in the first place. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Cobra PowrPro, but want more information on the Superchips Vigilante (If they finally decide to release it!)

I would think if you had it tuned initially on the DYNO you could tweak things here and there without needing to get it back on a dyno. I have the SERT for my bike and it was tuned by an indy. I know that I will be making changes but I will be taking it back to him for a retune. The cost will be half of what it was for the first tune. I know not everyone wants to do it this way therefore will go with a different unit that is easier to work with. Plus I like not having to have yet another device that has to be on the bike.
Virge, what Indy did you ake it to?

Ed over in Dallas, http://www.thedynodifference.com/. You will need to call for an appointment. He also sells a tuner for around $250 that he says is just as good as the SERT. He's located just on the other side of TI off 75.

I stand corrected. Apparently SERT doesn't exist anymore. It is now Screaming Eagle Pro Super Tuner or SEPST.

Chatted with him a bit and he seems to think SEPST sucks. Will have to ask why he thinks so
