Rog, that front tire looks awesome, all it needs now is a matching rear! LOL

I had a similar dilemma when I fitted my whitewalls, I wanted a certain tire but like you it meant putting the slighty smaller tire on the back, to be honest you can't even notice any difference when riding and the look is worth what little if any sacrifice there is!

Can you put some spacers in to raise that fender maybe 1/4 inch?

Hi Rog, glad to see you've ordered the rear tire to match, you've got the same amount of will power as me!

I used the Nightster fork gaiters, easy to fit, but you have to cut out the locating nodules on the insides to fit them to the 48, they just sit over the top of the chrome covers.

No, nothing wrong with the old ones. Just looked like an area on the bike that needed money thrown at it And they are a Beck design made by Coker.

I really like the look of no fender but have heard the complaints when riding in the rain. What I think Ill do is leave it off around home and day trips when Im fairly sure it wont rain. Then Ill do what you said with spacers for my road trips.

Yeah tell me about it. I just had to order black brake rotors too I did use some self control this winter, was going to have all the tins painted........couldnt pull the trigger so only the tank this winter. Just wish I had the skills some of these guys on here have. I can fix or bolt on anything but cant fabricate or paint worth a damn and yes Ive tried...........many times.

Figured it was the Nightster gaiters you got..........Ill have to keep an eye out.
