Move it there's a thread on here called $3.00 speedo relocation im gonna try it this weekend and maybe lift my tank an inch or two if you don't like it do something bout it
It may take 10 years and 10,000 miles, but eventually that strap will fail due to flexing. No big deal, but to me the Autometer mount is a no brainer. These are $5-10k Harleys not $500-1500 Suzukis.
If you want to change it you need theses parts.:
#3605 Riser bolts 2x$1.99=$4.00
#6590HW Riser bolt washer 2x3.99=$8.00
#56116-82A Handlebar clamp lower left 1x19.99=$20.00
#56117-82A Handlebar clamp lower right 1x19.99=$20.00
#2325 Screw 2x1.99=$4.00
#2361 Screw 2x.99=$2.00
#68513-95 Bezel warning lamp housing 1x2.99=$3.00
#68516-95 Housing, warning lamps 1x11.99=$12.00
#68551-95 Warning Jewel 1x18.99=$19.00-->Almost crapped myself, this is the little colored lens.
Also a top clamp with gauge mount, I used one from an 07 1200L so it would be chrom $35
I did mine, pain in the *** but I like it much better.

Doesn't work on the customs. The riser with the gauge in it like that has an entirely different bolt pattern than the standard harley offset. You have to change the hole set up there to get rid of the stock gauge mount
Forum member Skinless had the "Mickey Mouse" gauges on his Dyna bars. he went with a Dakota digital I believe was the brandname. It mad a big difference in the way his looked. He got an oblong small digital speedo. Just saying, something to consider.
