Default Handlebar dilemma

Hello all and thank you in advance.

I ride an iron883 and have been looking and searching and researching new bars for a couple of months now. I have purchased two different sets and installed them only to have them feel horrible and I took them right off.

The stock bars feel great as far as width (end to end) and pull back goes.... I just want to come up about 6 inches and back maybe 1 inch putting my hands right at or below shoulders and sitting me almost straight up.

I have sat on several bikes and gone to the stealership and sat with several different bars all the apes I tried run too wide for me. The keystones (biltwell) I tried leaned me over further.
I am looking at biltwells window set and other T bars... It appears to me they would give me the lift I want and since they follow the rake of the forks would bring the bar into me a little more.... but... with little pullback will I still be leaning forward just with my arms higher?

Just looking for a little insight or help
I am 5'9 180

Since you like the pullback and width of the stock bars, could you just get some taller risers for them? I think the T-bar or window bar option is also a good bet.

Thanks for input.... I am going to give a window bar or T bar a shot and will check out the wide glide bar.

+1. Keep the stock bars and get 6" pullback risers. You might have to get some new cables. Not sure, something to look into.
