just bought a front and rear shinko 712, it was only $100.48 for both tires. Free shipping from motorcycle superstore. For 100 bucks I thought it was a pretty good deal even if they only last me 5000 miles, thats still a good deal. The reviews on this tire were pretty good, Only negative I saw was tread life....
I have a set waiting to be installed at my house. I did alot of research on them before I bought them and some people hate them and some people love them. really really depends i guess
Hmmm. Sweet deal. If you don't mind me asking. Who you order through and what sizes are the tires? I'm in the market and at that price as long as they're decent if you get caught in the wet. Sounds like you can't go wrong. There was open house at my local yamaha dealer. The Michelin man was there, was going to give me a 90/90 for a 21x2.15 for $101. But, if you can get 2 for that, that's great. Even if the tread life sucks. It helps ease that pain of the initial aftermarket wheel/tire investment.

Nevermind, if I knew how to read. I answered my own question.

I believe the Shinko 712 only comes in a 130mm width for a 16" rear wheel. That size would be for 2003 and earlier Sporties.
