72 only looks good with the Big Red Flake option IMO. But, I can't see it being worth the starting price being $11,199. At that price point, I'd be looking at a 103' Softail Slim or a Dyna.
Over 11 grand for a sporty.......they must be nuts.

To be fair, you can get it without that awesome paint job for $10,500. But, why would ya??
I really like the looks of it, paint and styling wise. It's a nice breath of fresh air after the dark custom over saturation in the Sportster market. Though, I still wouldn't wanna give up my Iron!
Dude, The paint is the same red flake paint that came on the 2000 Sportster 1200 s. My bike looks exactly like that piece of ****.
I dunno if it's a difference in just pictures, but looking up the 2000 and comparing shows that the 72 has more of a metal flake that gives it a 70's sparkle of SUPER DUPER!

When I spray some pig spit on my tank it brings out the sparkle and looks pretty similar to the 72....I really liked that paint too, i guess its time to paint the tins...sigh.
