I wear these when it's dark on both my bass boat and my bike. I like the yellow lens when riding my bike because it seems to cut back the intensity of headlights without much adverse effect on visibility in total darkness while on my boat. No tears with these, but they do fog a little when at a stop.
During daylight I wear my every day sunglasses. I wear polarized Costa Del Mar Blackfins. They wrap around pretty good and do a fair job to protect my eyes from tearing-up. They could be better...
I have an aversion to uni-task items in my life, so for night time use I put the emphasis on my use when on the bike and make do when using them on the boat. For daytime use, I put emphasis on super high quality polarization for fishing and make do with them on the bike.
^ I like the looks of those! I wore glasses for a little while, but they barely protect from wind, and seem to fog up more easily. I'm a big fan of goggles now for those reasons.
