How do you like the Ultima shocks? I've been trying to decide between those and some used Street Glide shocks
I've carried them over on three different bikes if that suggests anything. Love 'em, great shock for the money. Only downside I see is the lack of a black body model for those into that. The plus is you get a new shock you don't have to worry with draining/filling with oil or all the other efforts described in many of the used/take-off shocks.
Mine... like most others lol. It's my first season of riding so I hope to alter a few things over winter... especially those bars. Drag bars would suit it nicely I think however I don't like the riding position so I think I will go for 12-14" apes. There's a lot more I'd like to do but..... I think after 2yrs I'll be going for a 1200 so not much point.
After I installed the passenger seat and back rest.. I prefer it without but me and my mates have fun so it's all good. Have since installed a swing arm bag and the foot pegs annnd removed the bars from the footpegs have gone.
Thanks Samo. Since you can't put a riser on these bikes, I'd like 10" apes, but thought I may need 12" so they compensate for no riser. Yours look great!
