What is the PCM and where did it go on late model bikes?

 

I can help you with part of your question. The PCM is the computer of fuel injected vehicles, whether it be a car, truck, or motorcycle. Now, as to where it is on your scoot, I have no idea. I'm sure someone on here, or even your local dealer, can help with the location.

 

PCM=ECU. 07-09 (maybe earlier?) was on rear fender under seat and 2010+ is behind rear cylinder I believe, though I haven't actually laid eyes on one.
