many many thanks for all the responce and input. My harley will be exported to Jamaica where i live so anything the dealer does would be final with no real warranty as the bike wont be around for them to fix anything that may be wrong. Thats actually why i wavered on letting them do the 1200 upgrade as i do mechanics for a living and do my own repairs on all my 7 bikes. I did not mind having harley do the job but i thought $900.00 in labour was a bit too high for a jug swap. The first thing i am going to do though is fit the apes from the street bob and see how it feels.
For $700 I can turn your bike into a 1250cc fire breather with a much superior quality cylinder and we only use forged pistons while most of the other kits are using cheap cast pistons.

Seeing that you can work on a bike and it will not be here for service if needed by all means go with NRHS.
