many many thanks for all the responce and input. My harley will be exported to Jamaica where i live so anything the dealer does would be final with no real warranty as the bike wont be around for them to fix anything that may be wrong. Thats actually why i wavered on letting them do the 1200 upgrade as i do mechanics for a living and do my own repairs on all my 7 bikes. I did not mind having harley do the job but i thought $900.00 in labour was a bit too high for a jug swap. The first thing i am going to do though is fit the apes from the street bob and see how it feels.

Go with the NRHS 88'' cubic inch kit with stage 3 headwork, adjustable pushrods, cams, etc. Let me know how that goes.

I want the so bad along with a trask turbo.

Seeing that you can work on a bike and it will not be here for service if needed by all means go with NRHS.

Jason Sarratt over at the XL forum...look for my install thread next week. If you want an honest 100hp 1200 with mild street manners this is for you. Here are a few links to peruse:

The test mule...

The above bike has run in the 9's in the quarter mile just like it sits with increased boost. The 100hp figure is with a mild and safe 5psi tune. If you decide to contact Jason, tell him "Rick" sent you.
