Default Hello from a new newb...

Hey guys and girls. I thought I might come out here and see what the forum is like. I got a 2004 sporty 1200c last year and promptly started hacking away at it to make it into what I've been thinking it should be. I'll put up a few pics. I know its not everyone's cup o tea, but this is the bike I've always wanted...Except now I gotta paint it...that can wait til next winter. Thanks to the guys at Deus Machine and their Deus Special for inspiring me.

Welcome. Nice work.
How'd you mount the pegs and rear brake for rear sets?

Default Thanks all!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Those rearsets are from Chainsickle.com. I looked far and wide for rearsets and everything was $700+. Then I stumbled on Shane over at Chainsickle and he had these for $350. Easy decision. When I got the bike it had forward controls, so I traded those for mids...didn't like those either...so...rearsets. If the seat was 1-2 inches higher things would be perfect, but it would wreck the look of the bike so screw it. I grew up riding japanese race bikes so having my feet out in front of me is just a no-go.
