I was actually just about to order a similar license plate/tail light setup. How much of a bitch was it to wire the light into the stock wiring for just the running/brake light? Did you cut any wires? Or just spliced them somehow?
It was not hard at all really. I cut all the wires to my signals and removed all four. I did the tank lift so I didn't want to unwrap/rewrap everything again so I just finished off the ends of the wires and tucked them neatly under the tank. The right rear signal wire I removed under the seat. The left rear where the plat is, I just ran the wires from the light into the battery box along with the lights from the bike for the left signal. I had plenty of length of wire. I then used butt connectors and wrapped everything. On my bike it was, black is ground, blue goes to green on the light and purple goes to black on the light. I then ran a new ground wire from the light mount to the black ground wire on the bike. Whole thing took maybe 30 minutes and that was doing a neat slow job. Very easy. I recommend the No School Choppers shock light mount I got, awesome quality. I purchased from Lowbrow customs and the lens is actual glass not cheap plastic. The bracket is 1/4" solid steel and the lens even has a plate light integrated into the bottom which really lights up the plate. Let me know if you have any questions when you try this and I'll help anyway I can.
They are the progressive 970 series shocks which are a SHOCKING!!!! $999.99 or if you are a gold card member at J&P which saves you 10% they are $899.89. Insanely expensive, but I got a decent return from Mr. Tax man this year and I was expecting nothing. The shocks are freaking awesome, super responsive and comfy and I haven't really adjusted them yet. I do need to raise my fender a bit or remove it because on large dips in the road I get some rubbing.
Techy question. How was the ignition/coil relocation? Where did you get the kit to do it?
The kit is/was awesome and not very hard, just a bit time consuming to remove and wrap all the wiring. I've done two of them so far with the same kit and I recommed it 100% Got it from DK. http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Gas-...ft-Kits_c4.htm
I like how the Joker Machine air intake opens up the engine. Sharp looking scoot!
P.S. You got tired of the rigid struts?
Thanks, and yes I did get tired of the struts. Ran them for a year, and they rode so much harsher than my Rigid framed LED SLED bobber. I really wanted something that was comfy and I no longer have to look out for every bump in the road or worry about my *** flying off the seat and crushing my nuts on the way down. Soooooooo much better! LOL!

Thanks! By chop I assume u mean LEDSLED? It's running great, but I basically only ride it on the weekends and a few weekdays here and there. The suicide/jockey and no front brake sucks in traffic and steep incline/declines. It's doable, but so much more fun on the long rides. She fires right up every time too, it's got a CV carb with no choke and I've never had a problem with it starting and runs real strong. That bobber is crazy fast!
