Rear Axle nut torque 2001 custom?

Default Rear Axle nut torque 2001 custom?

Anyone know the torque spec for the rear axle nut on the 2001? Had to replace rear bearings and don't wanna over tighten lol.

Sorry cant answer your question but i was about to raise a similar thread as i want to put a sidemount holder on my rear axle(11 nightster) and wanted to know the torque for the nut as well.

I had seen another posting and it looks like the vary by year ( different bearing styles I spose ) I think the 08 up ones were close to 100lbs but the 07 was around 75lbs

2001 is a solid 3/4" axle, torque is 60-65 ft-lbs

2011 is a hollow 25mm axle, should be about 95-100, 105 ft-lb max
